Aircraft Warning Lights Devices (AWL) are systems that allow aircrafts to easily identify elevated structures: skyscrapers, towers, chimneys, wind generators, offshore platforms, etc.; thus promoting a safe air navigation. According to ICAO Annex 14 and the most recent EASA regulations, a building must be equipped with an Aircraft Warning Lights system if it falls within the parameters defined by the International and European regulations or if the Local Civil Aviation Department, which monitors the flight operations, requires it.
